The sloping eastern plot and westward access were channeled by the house's unconventional layout.
The entry level is a bedroom level. The living room with its dining room and kitchen is entered via stairs. The arrangement of the Tugendhat Villa in Brno is based on the same principle.
The solidity of the house is underlined by the chosen material from the sand brick facade.
The ambiance of the terrain has also become apparent in the interior, where the living room has a floor three steps lower than the dining room and, as a result, has an exceedingly high ceiling.
