This modern, simple garden retreat proves that traditional forms of multi-generational living have their place in the 21st century.
A spacious and wheelchair-accessible ground-floor wooden building, which provides completely self-sufficient living not only for the elderly, has found a place next to a first-republic romantic villa with a beautiful garden and mature trees.
Taking into account the natural privacy of the garden, it was possible to glaze and lighten the house as much as possible with large aluminum windows, which visually enlarged the living room and bedroom.
The construction of wooden columns and beams is acknowledged in the interior and gives the building a distinctive character. The interior is largely furnished with built-in furniture, which is made of lacquered boards in natural shades and white, making the wooden beams and columns stand out even more.
Solitaire furniture from the Slovak manufacturer Javorina fits perfectly into the interior and underlines the timelessness of the whole building.
